Qualifications & Experience     

Donna Dee has over 45 years experience training and rehabilitating problem behaviour dogs. In the 1980s and 1990s she operated "Kaita's Dog School"  Donna is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers, CKC, HDDAC and C.A.D.F. 

With insatiable curiosity, sensitivity and unique problem solving skills, Donna is devoted to helping people and dogs understand each other. Her experience over four decades including: dog behavior consultant, veterinarian’s assistant, dog daycare owner, trainer for security, circus, TV stunt dogs, tracking, racing sled dogs, helper dogs, sent hurdle, fly-ball, competitive obedience, by-law officer, park ranger and dog breeder of CKC reg. Siberian Huskies since 1978.

Donna has been a popular speaker on dog behaviour & training. She has to her credit, commendations from the City of Calgary, veterinarians, health care workers, humane societies, child educators and thousands of satisfied clients.

Ms Dee’s entertaining, educational workshops and safety programs minimize the risk of dog bite by empowering children and adults to safely handle animal encounters. Her safety programs are a must for professionals at risk of dog bite, including by-law enforcement, utility and postal employees. Donna established and operated 4 Paws Dog Daycare & 4 Paws Canine Consulting Inc. until 2008, and now focuses on dog behaviour and training.

Donna is a coordinator for pet care with Red Deer Disaster Services, past president of the Red Deer & District SPCA, past executive board member of the Red Deer & District Kennel Club, R.C.M.P. Victim Services Advocate.  She was a member of the Hot Diggity Dog Agility Club. Donna was a puppy raiser supervisor for Dogs With Wings who train dogs for  disabled  Albertans. Donna  and a pack of dogs are often seen around Red Deer dog triking or sledding.
